What is a Notary?
A Notary Public is a state official authorized to witness the signing of important documents. We have a Notary Public at every branch location and offer this as a free service.
Examples of Notarized Documents
- Mortgage closing documents
- Real estate deeds and property transfer documents
- Powers of attorney
- Wills and trust documents
- Contracts and agreements
- Parental consent forms for travel

How to Notarize a Document
No appointments are required for IC Credit Union’s Notary Services. Members can access notary services during normal business hours at all branch locations and can expect to have their documents notarized in less than an hour.
Member or non-member will need to present a non-expired ID and can expect either a Solutions Advisor II, ABM, Solution Managers, or AVP Solution Managers to notarize their documents.
The form being notarized should not be handwritten, however it is at the discretion of the notary whether they will notarize a handwritten document.
IC Credit Union ensures the confidentiality and security of the documents being notarized. Employees adhere to the member confidential policy.
