Important notice concerning election of directors
The Nominating Committee, in accordance with the bylaws authorized by the National Credit Union Administration, has submitted the following nominees to the Secretary to serve a three-year term:
Norman P. Gariepy
Norman Gariepy is a CPA and business owner. He was first elected to the Board of Directors in November 1986. Mr. Gariepy became the chairman of IC’s board in June 2018. Additionally, he serves as chairman of the Compensation Committee and is a current member of the ALM Committee.
Ernest F. Houle
Ernest Houle serves as the Superintendent-Director of the Assabet Regional Vocational School District. He brings a strong foundation in career and technical education, a field in which he has been deeply involved since 1996. Mr. Houle joined the Supervisory Committee in 2018. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2023 and went on to be elected Chairman in 2025.
Karen J. Spinelli
Karen Spinelli is the owner and managing partner of Spinelli, CPA. She is deeply engaged in her community and contributes her expertise by serving on several local boards. Karen was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2024 and continues to lend her insight as a member of the Compensation Committee.
Each of the above persons has consented to nomination and has agreed to serve if elected. Elections will not be held by ballot and nominations from the floor will not be accepted when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled. However, additional nominations may be submitted by a petition signed by a minimum of 250 Members. A brief statement of qualifications and biographical data shall accompany each petition of nomination, along with a signed certificate from the nominee or nominees stating that they are agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected to office. All petitions and accompanying data shall be sent by First Class Mail, postmarked no later than May 16, 2026 to:
