FITCHBURG, MA – IC Credit Union has donated $12,400 to Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts to support its mission of building and repairing safe, affordable homes for families in need.
The total gift includes $2,400 raised by IC Credit Union employees through the Jeans for Charity program—where team members contribute a portion of their paycheck in exchange for wearing jeans on designated days—along with a $10,000 contribution from the IC Empower Fund, which supports initiatives that strengthen communities and improve lives.
“At IC Credit Union, we believe everyone deserves the security and stability that comes with having a place to call home,” said Christopher P. Hendry, President and CEO of IC Credit Union. “Habitat for Humanity’s work transforms lives, and we are proud to support their efforts right here in our community.”
