“Norm’s vision and steady leadership guided us through decades of growth and change,” said Christopher Hendry, current President and CEO of IC Credit Union. “From expanding member access to strengthening our financial foundation, he leaves a legacy built on service to our community and our members. Norm embodies IC, and he continues to be the best representation of who we are and how we impact North Central Massachusetts.”

IC Credit Union began humbly in 1928 when a local priest and lawyer came together to create a financial institution to support the people of their community. That focus on the member holds true today and continues to be the foundation for IC’s success. Today, IC is one of the largest credit unions in Central Massachusetts, with over $550 million in assets serving more than 40,000 members with branches in Fitchburg, Leominster, Ayer, Westminster, and Worcester.

“I’m confident the Board and leadership team will continue to advance our mission and keep members at the center of every decision. IC has been part of my family for decades, and I look forward to continuing my service to the credit union.”

Boudreau was bestowed as an Emeritus Director during IC’s June Annual Meaning. As an Emeriti Board Member, Boudreau will continue to serve IC, representing the credit union at events throughout the community. A retirement dinner to honor and celebrate Boudreau’s career with family, friends, the Board, and the team from IC was held last evening (August 28) at Il Forno in Lunenburg.
