IC Credit Union Team Collects over 150 Pounds of Food for Local Families in Need

Food Drive 2025

FITCHBURG, MA — IC Credit Union is proud to announce the success of its recent food drive, during which team members gathered an estimated 150 pounds of non-perishable food items to support local families this holiday season. The collection was organized by IC’s volunteer committee, reflecting the credit union’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.

In addition to the food drive, IC continued its tradition of generosity through The Great Holiday Giveback, an annual initiative that empowers both members and employees to nominate local non-profit organizations to receive financial support from the credit union. This year, with the support of our members and team, IC donated more than $4,000 to area food pantries. Each donation was made in the name of the member whose nomination was selected, helping extend their impact even further. Collectively, the Great Holiday Giveback promotion donated more than $26,500 to local non-profits.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Chris Hendry, President of IC. “We’re incredibly grateful to our team and members for coming together once again to support families and local organizations during the holidays.”

Since 1928, IC Credit Union has been committed to supporting charitable efforts and strengthening the communities we proudly serve.
