(Fitchburg, MA - May 30, 2012) - Just completing its second year, the IC employee-founded Jeans for Charity program has brought in nearly $21,000 to date. "IC employees are both humble and proud of this accomplishment," said Human Resources, Senior Vice President, Jane Flannagan," "their donations have helped over 18 charitable organizations throughout our local communities." The volunteer program requires that employees pay $3 for the privilege of wearing jeans (with an IC apparel shirt) on Fridays and/or Saturdays. President & CEO, Tony Cali said in a recent communication to all employees: "Congratulations to each of you! I know that you are as proud as I am for the generosity displayed each month through Jeans for Charity." "A new organization is chosen and announced monthly by human resources - the rest is, well…astonishing," said Flannagan.
